Ho Ho Steamboat has various branches but the one that Ringo recommended to us is located at Segambut. It is the apparent Pulau Ketam famous steamboat - which I never knew was even famous for steamboat. Only thought it was famous for the dog abandoning place. Or wait is that a different island all together?

Kim's mum mentioned that this restaurant was already famous over 10 years ago but not because of the food but because of an urban gossip. Not nice for me to disclose it here so I will :X but anyway, it's located next to a Famous Yong Tau Fu restaurant as well, so it's two famous eateries side-by-side.
Was very disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant and they ran out of the 'ko hai' - the crab with lots of roe so instead we had clams to soak in the soap and make the taste of the soup more flavorful as well as a combination of two kinds of soup, the clear soup and the tom yam soup.
We were all starved from the journey there, as it was a Friday and traffic in KL on Friday's are just madness! So most of us were battling the jam to try to reach on time and start the feast. Luckily we were all quite punctual, mb like just 10 minutes off, all 'cept for Haze, whom came much later.
My favorite bit was actually the pork meat and the quill egg *yums* oh yes and the prawns were actually rather fresh, juicy and quite sizable for a steamboat kinda method. The rest of the food was not too bad, oh and the fish ball is really nice too. Managed to sneak Fatty a few. Ringo emo me cos she didn't get any and I gave mine to Fatty. Sowwee skinnybitch! Give you more next time! LOL!
