It took us a while to get there but thanks to Precious Pea's directions on her blog, we managed to find the place. When we arrived, it was drizzling slightly, so Fatty had to sit in the bag, as the dog-friendly area outside has very little seats and the owner says its better to sit inside and avoid the rain. We were all so fungry when we were there, straight away whacked some others, whilst those who were driving had to take a while to look for a parking.
One thing inconvenient about the place is the lack of parking and to park across the road is superly dangerous, as the shop is located at a blind spot and many cars fly back and forth on that single lane road. FOL. Too bad the shop next door doesn't rent out his parking. Wise choice to do that since the business isn't as good as Hing Kets.
The lamb is the best dish of the night. It actually faired way better then the crab.
The ikan bakar was a little too spicy
The mihun fried with Lala. It tastes good although I only had one bite. Eating with the porkgang you have to grab your food fast or lose out. Mb that's why Ringo is always so skinny :P
The super small kai lan. Seriously the guy quite joker also, knew the amount of people but only served us a small one, kenot even taste the vege lor. Tak syiok!
Then the main dish, the crab arrived. Because we didn't call to order, we didn't get to try out the Crabs with most roe (kou hai). Only had their medium sized ones and apparently, the crabs were not as good as it was supposed to be. Honestly, I felt that the crab was so-so only. I would have rather had another piece of lamb or go to City Star restaurant for the dunno what fertilizer kenot cross over dunno what dish. I know it is different cos one is steamed and one is BBQ-ed but chung zhi it's just not that good la.
Lastly, the honey chicken wings. Not really that good as well. The sauce is nice but it felt like the chicken was over cooked. And probably what ticked me off a bit was that when I ordered my Orange Juice, it took so bloody long to come, like WTF! I had to ask 6 times before it actually arrived. Imagine if I was dying of thirst because the dish too spicy? Then really FML already.
