The Bintang Revolving Restaurant offers fine dining with a difference. Located on the 18th floor of The Federal, this restaurant revolves to allow diners a 360-degree view of the city’s skyline. The restaurant offers excellent weekend high tea buffet. By night, the setting becomes romantic with candle-lit tables and live music in the background. Source: http://www.fhihotels.com/
This was Malaysia's first revolving restaurants and I'm pretty sure that most of your parents have actually been there to pak tor and stuff like that. Pretty sure the view used to be awesome before the rise of all the brick walls in KL. The bf decided that we should go there again - the last being my birthday more then 5 years ago. Quite the funny because the first time he brought me there, I actually felt really sick and wanted to puke cos the mechanism for the revolving restaurant seem to be tersekat-sekat - 5 years down the road still the same but my tolerance level is much higher now LOL.
Basket of bread
Mushroom Soup - was a bit too thick and peppery
Lobster Salad with capsicum, yum! Quite dai
The bf ordered the Satay cos he is a real Satay fan but he mentioned that it wasn't great. Meat too tough and dry and the peanut sauce just ain't good
The main dish, Lobster with 2 styles of cooking on is grilled and one is with cheese. The cheese one is actually nice than the grilled one and not too jelak cos they mixed it with a bit of parsley and the cheese taste isn't that overwhelming. But it's totally different from Lobsterman's lobster dish.
