Departure Lounge had always been S and E's favorite meet up place for breakfast and to catch up with one another. So the name is not foreign to me, the only thing is I have ever been there on my own to try out the food and when the bf decided to bring me to a place that has all day breakfast as a surprise little did he know when he headed towards Solaris area, I knew it was Departure Lounge that he was bringing me to. Located opposite the SoHoKL building - amongst the shop lots, which is opposite Dr. Cafe (fark the Cookie Frappe here is so nice I get tingles when I drink it) they also have a branch in Damansara Uptown located the same row as Uptown Pets Center I mean same row as RHB bank or those of you who knows where WonderMilk is located, it's just at the back of it.
Extensive Breakfast Menu, some set that allows you to mix and match 5 different things on the menu to make up your own breakfast plate. The sauteed mushrooms are quite the bomb and the scrambled eggs kicked ass!
Semi-dog friendly I think because Ally was sitting in the bag the whole time we were there and no one commented or shoo-ed us away. Decided not to bring her out because it is a halal place.
Turkey Ham, Scrambled Egss, Chicken Sausage, Fish Fingers and Toasted Bread, awesome concoction thanks to the bf.
Mister Croque, the glamourous name for the croque-monsieur. The most common and cheapest dish to eat when in Paris, especially for students who go travel there on a budget. I remembered in Paris the bf, E and I were sharing one of it because things were so expensive there and we only splashed on food like after a few days of cheap eating - we were there for over a week so need to jaga wallet a bit first. LOL! This dish however wasn't that good because the cheese was too Parmesan-ish and bread was too thick though the ham was rather tasty. The first bite tastes really good but after the third or fourth bite, it just tastes a bit too jelak.
Then I googled Departure Lounge and found a WhiffofLemonGrasses review on the place. Now I feel like going over to tapao the croissant and ham. *ponders*
