BU Park

R: eh, this Sunday go BU park got dog gathering
J: ohhh another event a?
R: yahhh, I tink so. S told me one
J: OHHHH *ponders* okies la~

Then turns out it is a weekly thing whereby the dogs whom go for obedience training meets up there as well as some responsible owners whom wanna exercise their dogs just brings them over. Waseh, make me paiseh go tell Scottie's mummy (after the failed attempt to make babies with my Fatty) that this Sunday got dog gathering. She was like "is it? I didn't know or hear about it" and she went and check and kenot find also. LUCKILY she didn't come all the way her and then get disappointed :P

But cookie had fun regardless and so did Fatty and Ally.

Running near the lake but then go drink water only, never jump in! JUMP LA go swim! :P

Alice in Wonderland and Most Horrible Hokkien Mee

Have you watched ALICE IN WONDERLAND yet???

Last Sunday, the bf and I went to watch the movie and then after the movie, we walked around MidValley and came to the Concourse area. They were having an Alice in Wonderland roadshow! There were like super huge mushrooms, flowers, and various characters from the movie!

The mushrooms were huge and they were glowing.. hehe its almost like ALICE IN WONDERLAND!

Ohh... and then we spotted one random photobomber. Hehe. Mm... lets call her... ALICE.

She was so excited - she was almost like a little kid!

She wanted to kiss the talking flowers too! But the flowers didnt look that happy... hehe... =)

Aiks... where did ALICE go? Maybe the flowers makan her liao... I think if I brought Ally here, she might be just freaked out. The flowers which she see and know as tiny flowers just grew so big... hehehe... it'll freak her out for sure! =)

There was this promo giving out the Alice in Wonderland teapot set - and Alice was determined to get it! Okay lah.. lets not call her Alice already; thats Ringo by the way.

After our little walkabout Midvalley, we then headed to KL to look for some dinner. In fact, the bf wanted to eat the Nasi Lemak at San Peng area - but unfortunately, it was CLOSED! So, we ended up at this place - which was super-packed, but in fact, it had the worst hokkien mee ever!!!!

The hokkien mee at the Mun Wah place at Jalan Maharajalela, just a few shops down from Cafe Cafe.

The soup was not too bad ler, but the hokkien mee just spoilt all my appetite!

The 'chao peh ker' here was good - but not as good as the one at Onglai.

I will not come back here again. For hokkien mee, I'll still go back to Ah Wah!!!!

Restaurant Gasing

I always remembered this Restaurant as a place I really really dislike going to. Why? Because the parents would always bring me n the sis here rather then head over to a Mc Donald's or KFC or A&W, which is every child's heaven. I used to cry and refuse to eat a single thing whilst sitting and sulking on the chair - yeah, I was quite the spoilt last time and just glare at mum or dad until they finish their food. Sometimes of cos they oblige and succumb to my short-temper but other time, they will just let me starve *LOL*

Can't blame me leh! Everyday eat rice as the staple diet makes a small child really sick to bits. Especially when my mum overfeeds me with rice, I always end up puking them out and crying in distress. Really FML max back then - hence now you know the true reason why I don't eat rice. It's got a twist to the story, told you so!

But more then 10 years down the line, I am now such a fan of Chinese food, especially hawker stalls because they sell the best tasting food ever. Really will make you drool non-stop or keep craving for it. And FYI, Chinese food is also the easiest dishes to cook. At one point of time, I was feeling very housewifey, will always come home early to rush and cook for the bf - one thing though, is when I cook, I got no appetite to eat it. It's like I feel I'm super exhausted, just wanna clean up and see ppl enjoy the food and that's it.

Ok back to the restaurant, we were there because we wanted to grab a quick bite before heading over to Ruby's 2nd day celebraation at Gardens and Cookie was chilling at my place. So Taka and Ringo decided that we should all eat together, nearby and leave Cookie, head to Gardens and then pick her up after the party was over.

So hence the reason we took a pit-stop here

Ringo, super hungry and super filled with lotsa funny cravings the last few weeks. Was in super shock when Taka requested to order 'tit pan taufu', wahseh! This Japanese knows how to eat leh

Some Ching Jing Teo Chew Fish that Ringo ordered. The fish had a bit of smell and the sauce doesn't seem to compliment it nor did it get absorbed into the meat, hence the meat tastes really blend.

The vege was a bit tasteless as well. For healthy people, you would probably like it because no salt and not much oil as well.

The bf wanted the Yam Basket but they ran out, so he ordered eggplant instead. So far the only dish that I like from there. But slightly too salty, probably because it has a bit of Oyster sauce plus salted fish.

And Taka's 'tit pan taufu'dunch like also. Very average tasting.

I think this place is only good at their Hokkien mee and Yin Yong Kungfu Chao mee, not as good as Ah Wah but taste good as well. But not as bad as the one we had 2 weeks ago in KL (same row as Cafe-cafe, will post and bitch more about that soon)

Fusion Japanese food, which is similar to Pasta Zenmai, located at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall on its own. Just right next to J Co Donuts.

Decided to give it a try because I saw Ching tweet her hamburg a long time ago, looks damn fucking nais! They have an impressive array in their menu of food along with dessert and stuff *slurps*

But was a bit disappointed because after having lunch there, I still crave for Pasta Zenmai.

I ordered this, minus the Spicy Cod Roe, made it non-spicy because as you know I don't fancy spicy food

They have daily promotions on their set lunches, quite dai also and for those greedy bargers ey, you can choose to order like half pasta, half pizza or half pizza, half hamburg or et al. Really can customize one

The drinks also damn a lot of choices leh! Can go crazy trying to decide

Horny's Spicy Chicken Pasta, he said its a bit spicy but very nais!

My pasta, slight disappointment and a bit tasteless as well

I like the idea that you can add cheese as much as you want or like :D

Will probably try the Hamburg out one day. May be I can change my view on the place :D
