Blackberryhousing.blogspot.com

I have been intending to beautify my blackberry for the longest time. Even down to the extent that I purchased the casing / shells from the net and got them delivered here. But champion here dunno how to change ma, so went about asking friends where to get it changed and majority of them recommended to Blackberry Housing - an online website that sells all kinds of blackberry housing, even like Ed Hardy designed ones and the guy would actually get you to meet around Mid Valley area and change it on the spot for you. The cost? Mine for example is RM 140 to change. The more complex and mixing and matching would definitely add on to the price because got more accesories to add on mer.

I even got him to add the backlight for me to make my keypad look pink now, which actually looks really awesome during night time and when it is dark.

The 3 blinged up 9700

Super pink metallic housing - was torn between making it pink and white versus pink but to make it white and pink there would be more complication to fixing it on cos if I'm not mistaken for the 9700 series, Eric mentioned something that sounded to difficult, I just went O_o

Screen picture brought to you by Joe Low Photography :D

This is the coffee coloured one for the 9700 series

Just head to the website and start choosing what colors you wanna zheng your BB up with or what you wanna do with it and email Eric to let him know so he can order it for you and it takes about a week for it to come in and then he can get it done for you.

Toy Story 3

The long awaited Toy Story 3 is finally here. More than 10 years later, this movie that has been the favorite for most of us (20 something kids) is now out again. Everyone was bound to have felt sappy or shed a few tears while watching the movie, albeit being a guy or a girl. So I was bouncing with joy and excitement when I found out that the movie was out with a part 3. I never actually expected it but gosh! So excited! And watching it was just awesome.

Watch the trailer below:-

The funniest part would actually be their escapade series, as usual lots of funny things would happen, such as funny mishaps. Eg: Buzz getting fixed and accidentally set to speak and act in espanol. And Slinky dogs encounter with the cymbal-clanging monkey. Ai ai ai! Lol! Really tickled us! And the Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear, looking so cute and cuddly but then having gone through unhappy incidents in his life thus making him a gangster and taking over the daycare.

I shall not elaborate too much on the movie but for those of you who are yet to watch, head on to the nearest TGV cinemas near you, mine will be the 1 Utama Shopping Center one. List of TGV cinemas available here. And remember to keep the stubs to your movie tickets (for Toy Story 3), as now TGV is allowing kids or bf's to win for their gf's the Lots-O-Huggin' Bear. To enter the contest, merely present 2 stubs of your Toy Story 3 movie tickets in-exchange for ONE contest form OR for those whom have watched Toy Story 3, fret not, you still have a chance to participate in this contest by downloading the contest forms here (but bear in mind, movie stubs still needed to participate in this contest)

So just participate and answer ONE simple question, completed with a slogan in less than 120 words and stand a chance to win the Live Sized Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear (10 up for grabs nationwide) that is worth RM800. *ponders* I can imagine how freaked out my pups would be if I won the bear. LOL!

Note that this is an exclusive contest available ONE at TGV Cinemas, so head on to any TGV cinemas now, those of you whom watched it elsewhere, I'm sure watching it again at TGV (not only because of the contest) would be a fantastic experience, cos of its comfortable and spacious seats and wide selection of screening times to cater for all.

The entry form can also be downloaded here, via JPEG

Long story short, to enter merely refer to these simple 7 steps.

1) Collect 2 (two) Toy Story 3 movie ticket stubs to be eligible for one entry.

Download your entry form below, answer one simple question (Who are Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear’s best friends in Toy Story 3?) and complete a slogan (I deserve a plush, life-sized Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear because…)

2) Just submit your completed form to any TGV counter with the two movie ticket stubs you’ve collected.

3) Movie goers may submit multiple entries. There is no limit to the number of entries per person.

4) The winner will be selected based on the correct entry with the best slogan submitted.

5) Contest runs from 17 June 2010 until end of the movie’s screening.

6) Hurry! Any submission after the movie has ended will be considered invalid and disqualified from the contest.

7) Log on to www.tgv.com.my for more info.

Can't wait till the next project Schnauzerblog :D

Schnauzer Blog in Thematic Women in White Series

Joe texted me not long back wanting a fresh look for his women in white series thematic shoots and decided to use Fatty and Ally as his models. So off we went to Jarrod and Rawlins to snap away. It was nice of them to allow Fatty and Ally to sit on the chair and even made it onto the table for some shots. So some of the photos here are actually the warm up prior to the shoot, will update a few days later with the 2 photos that has been released.

Joe 'briefing' Fatty and Ally on the shots that he has taken :P

Ally got distracted with the food

Bribery at stake

Do check out Joe Low Photography if you are interested to work with him on shoots and such.

When The Schnauzer's Gather

Address:
13:A, Jalan Desa,
2/8, Desa Aman Puri,
52100 Kepong,
Kuala Lumpur

Tel: 03-6277 6127

Open daily (except for Wednesdays) from 10am-10pm

Quite the havoc trying to line up six hyperactive schnauzer in a row. Had to bribe them with treats and even so, each individual one had that short attention span within them that made it difficult to get their attention for more then a minute, even with food. Smart arses. LOL! But the good part is we manage to get some nice shots of them and they could get along together sniffing up one another. We had a little spider dog, trying to make her escape, cuties that charm you with their cute face and smiles, felt like I wanna kidnap all of them and keep them all for myself. :D

I Love Sony Music Malaysia

Heard of Sony Music? Then it's time for you to become a fan of their facebook page - Sony Music Malaysia Facebook Page and keep yourself updated with all the artists news as well as whom is coming down for concerts and psttt I'm pretty sure they would have loads of future contests to win tickets for their artist's concerts and all.

Not only that! To clinch the deal, head on to Yatz site, and start spreading your love for Sony Music's Facebook Page on your blog and you will be the lucky few to receive two spanking new CD's of any - ANY of your favortie Sony Music Artists (eg: John Legend, the cutie pie Jay Chau, Wang Lee Hom, the famous Glee Sound Track, Beyonce Knowles and even Xtina)

Making that selection was difficult! To think about the whole long list of artists that Sony Music actually has - click here for the full list. So I actually took an hour trying to decide on which artists that I would like to have their CD. Too bad Jason Mraz isn't under their label - could you guys please like sign him over :D!!! Then I decided that my two artists would be John Legend and Imogen Heap.

Hello??? It's John Legend! How can one not choose him? Every time I listen to John Legend's music, it brings me back to Black and White in Hong Kong. Such a fun night! One of the best and most memorable Hong Kong trips ever.

I'm also looking forward to getting my Imogen Heap's CD. Especially since I had to miss out on their concert in Singapore a few months back - so disappointed! And tickets had already been paid, had to just burn it like that. But never mind, I'm pretty sure blasting on the album CD would at least make up for 70% of what I've missed out. *in self denial*

Okay, so all you have to do once again is LIKE or become a Fan of Sony Music Malaysia Facebook Page and head on to any blogs that is participating in this contest and post your blog links on their comment boxes and you are on your way to get two spanking new CDs!

Good luck my friends!!!

PJ Seafood Restaurant, at the border of Tropicana Golf and Country Club

Address:
Restaurant PJ Seafood
Plot A, Simpanan Talian
Elektrik Kampung Cempaka
Petaling Jaya

Tel: 012-927 7162
Business Hours: Daily; Lunch (12.00 - 2.30pm), Dinner (6.00-11.30pm)

Yay, we found yet another dog friendly restaurant to bring Fatty and Ally to, never knew that the PJ Seafood restaurant is actually very acceptable to bringing pets. Even big dogs are allowed to sit beside their owners, whilst their owners are having dinner. For smaller pets of cos, they are allowed to sit on the chairs next to you. The owner is really friendly and likes dogs a lot, so she will come and greet you with a warm smile and would want to pet you furkids :)

Since it was a rainy day, we decided to dress the furkids up and go eat the yummy butter claypot crabs. :P

Ally getting curious, looking under the table to see if there was anything down there, lol.

She actually got her hair cut not too long ago and is having the pms look cos she really looks funny with short hair. Much prettier with long hair but messier as well.

Fatty trying to behave herself, looks like she is holding her tongue from barking

The first dish arrived - grilled lamb chop, not as good as the Kampung Jawa one, but acceptable if you are too lazy to head all the way to Klang for it. However this dish is not worth the price, seriously overpriced at rM16 a pieces, can't really tell if there were 2 pieces here also.

Next was the Sang Mee with chicken and seafood. This dish was actually rather horrible, cos the Sang Mee doesn't taste like sang mee, more like yee mee rather and it isn't crunchy as well. The sauce didn't complement the noodles an the vegetable was too bitter.

Kangkung belacan dish, which is quite nice. Not too spicy, just nice for my liking :)

Grilled crabs were horrible, probably because they are not specialized in grilled crabs but cos of cravings for Kampung Jawa, it was ordered. The comment was Kun Thai's restaurant has better and cheaper grilled crabs instead. Will go and try that out and see if it really is. Wonder if better than Kampung Jawa or not.

The Butter baked Claypot Crabs, my favorite dish. The taste is just as good, nothing deteriorated, maybe the size of the crabs. When we had cravings for crabs we used to always come here to ta pao along with the deep fried man tau and eat just this for dinner. It's often enough too much for us to finish and the balance would actually be my lunch the following day. I don't know why but somehow I really like leftover food that is warmed and eaten the next day.

The deep friend mantau, one of the best so far

After watching us busily munching away, Ally got sick and tired trying to beg for food, whilst Fatty was having the time of her life snacking on chicken meat, naughty Ally decided to climb into the stand that was the barrier between her and Fatty to try and beg for some food.

So cutes :)

Then Fatty wanted a go and tried to sit inside as well

See her struggling to turn her face, have to sook the head a bit like a tortoise and then only turn

End result :P

Ipoh Chicken Rice, Jalan Gasing

Address:
107 Jalan Gasing
46000 Petaling Jaya,
Selangor Darul Ehsan

Tel: 03-7956 0958

My family have always been patrons of both the chicken rice restaurants in Jalan Gasing, Ipoh Chicken Rice and Satellite Chicken Rice, which is located next to each other. The more famous one would be Ipoh Chicken Rice of cos, as it started as a single lot double story restaurant and has now expanded to 2 lots and they have 2 branches as well (one in Mid Valley, Boulevard and the other one at Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara).

It is actually a very modern set up as compared to Satellite Chicken Rice and I guess the high traffic of patrons is due to the fact that the whole place is air conditioned and they have tons of variety on their menu. Of cos the core if the Steamed and Roasted Chicken but they have expanded to an extensive menu of having light snacks like Deep Fried Seafood Tofu, Curry Dishes and a vast range of other dishes. Looking at the menu actually made me feel like coming back for more to try the other stuff, as purely eating chicken rice can be a bit boring. Also chicken rice used to be our quick fix if my mum doesn't wanna cook or when we are too busy or can't decide on what to eat.

Picture taken from Precious Pea

It's packed from the minute they open till night time. Even more on Sundays when the Church patrons are headed over for lunch after Sunday mass. It is relatively cheap (of cos Satellite Chicken rice will cost lesser than the above) and affordable for kids as well, after Sunday school, you head over for a plate of chicken rice for like RM 5.00 or lesser? I remember how I used to look forward to it after church with the cousins.

The barbequed pork - really lean meat, which is good and the sauce is actually very fragrant so it is rather appetizing. But quite a small portion for 5 people.

The roasted pork - very crunchy but not enough taste, probably cos a few days before I had some siew yoke that my aunt bought which was super juicy (fucking oily) and damn the marination is super jeng.

They even have Sea Coconut drink with Longan *slurps*

The combination of steamed and roasted chicken for 5 people. Made a mistake by not placing an order requesting for the thigh area, so there were loads of the meat which was rather dry. Look at the steamed chicken you can also see how dry it is. For the chicken I actually prefer the one at Satellite Chicken rice cos the meat is smoother and softer, even for the breast area and also the fact that they don't drown the chicken in ginger like they do here.

The Bean Sprouts dish, a simple to make dish, that probably causes you RM 2 for a whole bag of it but you get charged like RM 5 a dish at any shops. LOL

When heading for chicken rice, one can never ever forget to order to pork balls. It feels like something is missing when you don't have the pork balls and soup with your chicken rice. They actually go so well together, yums! The pork ball soup here is actually one of the nicest because it isn't that salty, so doesn't feel like your hair is going to drop off every time you have a sip of the soup. LOL
