Chinese New Year season is BACK!!! I had a few lou sang sessions already - and I thought I would want to blog about this one - yes, a Chinese New Year Special set at Tai Zi Heen, Prince Hotel. =P

Gather your friends and family here for Yee Sang to usher in a prosperous New Year!!!

Since it's Chinese New Year, obviously we'll be eating YEE SANG!!!

The double boiled pearl shark's fin with bamboo pith and Chinese cabbage. Tasty!!!

Braised dried oysters with fatt choy, baby abalone, sea cucumber and wok-fried greens. I dont understand why - but why does the fatt choy only 'come out' during CNY? Why not all year round? I love the fatt choy...

Traditional style steamed cod fish.

Stir fried prawns with pumpkin sauce served on rice nest.

Double boiled hasma with red dates and glutinous rice dumplings.

All in - it was a super good meal, damn full after that...

I was at Pavilion the other day to yumcha right after our heavy dinner at Shanghai, J W Marriott. Spotted the Chinese New Year decor at Pavilion, thought I would share them here.

For full details on how to participate and other relevant information, go to the contest microsite at techcentral.my/moviechallenge. Recruitment of participants ends Feb 14. Shortlisted teams will be required to attend a briefing and a session to draw lots in Studio V, at the 1Utama Shopping Mall on Feb 19. From there, they will have a month to complete the challenge.

All entries must be submitted via the Internet; i.e. uploaded to Youtube.com, and the URL for the video posted on the microsite. Remember, only one video submission per team. Twenty per cent of the marks awarded for the video will come from the public, when voting takes place. The remainder of the marks will be awarded by the contest judges.

The entries will be judged based on production and post-production quality, shot composition, camera work, lighting and shot variety, as well as on script and storyline quality, among others.

A Canon EOS 60D camera is the grand prize. Following that are two special jury awards, which will net the winners a Canon EOS 550D camera each. Also, seven Canon Digital Ixus 130 cameras will be awarded as consolation prizes.

Perry has been awesomely cuteeeee!!! =)

Today we brought him out to a few places while Fatty and Ally went for their weekly shower. Perry showed how much he loved to kai kai as well. He was considerably very quiet while inside the bag, and so we took him out to lunch with us!

After that, we got back into the car... and here is Perry... on the dashboard. =)
