If you ever do go to Hong Kong this year, it a must to visit Hong Kong Disneyland and you will be able to watch this magical fireworks that takes place daily at 8pm. In conjunction with their 5 years anniversary, the themed Celebration in the air and hence their parades and fireworks are a thad different. So it is a much watch - in person.

ZEITGEIST (15, 22 Feb) at Palate Palette. =)

You may recall that in 2008/2009, Palate Palette screened two thought-provoking films: ‘Zeitgeist: The Movie’ and its sequel ‘Zeitgeist: Addendum’. When we heard that Zeitgeist: Moving Forward was recently released, we thought it would be a great idea to host a screening!

On 22 February, Palate Palette proudly presents Zeitgeist: Moving Forward, by director Peter Joseph, a feature length documentary work, which will present a case for a needed transition out of the current socioeconomic monetary paradigm which governs the entire world society. This is a non-commercial project, which means it is available for free acquisition via internet in both viewing form and full DVD download. For those who missed out on the movement, we're also rescreening the first two films on 8 and 15 February 2011.

Come join us! Screenings are free! And so is their popcorn!

Self Freezing Coke. =)

Awhile back, I was at Taipei with the bf - and then we stumbled upon this Coca Cola / Coke bottle vending machine; I remembered seeing the same machines before in Hong Kong, and how the Coke turns frozen by itself the moment you open it. Pretty cool stuffs eh!

But somehow... the attempt kinda failed.
